Research Orientation
– Organize the research staff into targeted research groups with specific research directions, enabling the preparation and proposal of collaboration in training and research with organizations/units both domestically and internationally. This includes both basic and applied research in areas such as bioinformatics, agricultural system optimization, data processing and management, GIS applications, web technologies, and other IT applications in agriculture and resource management.
– Encourage and facilitate faculty members to participate and present at national and international conferences and seminars to increase the number of scientific publications from the department’s staff. Each specialized discipline will have a research plan for individual staff members to ensure at least the minimum required research hours. Organize seminars within the faculty and departments, and update research information of the faculty and departments on the faculty’s and university’s websites.
– In 2025, the department will establish a strong research group titled “Big Data and Digital Transformation” comprising faculty members from within and outside the department to research the application of IT in agriculture, with initial noteworthy achievements.
– Promote the application of digital transformation in teaching and scientific research.
– Actively develop and participate in project proposals at various levels, enhancing the research capacity of faculty members.
