Research Strategy

– Formulation and development of research into group of researchers, including students, with clear objective for each group. Intensification of research collaboration with other units/orgainizations both within HUA, within the country and abroad.. Focus both theoretical and applicable topics with priority on biotechnology, optimization application in agriculture, data manipulation and data analysis, geographic information systems, web-based systems, and other applications of IT in agriculture and natural resources management.
– Encouragement for FITA staff to participate and to present their studies at national and international scientific conferences/workshops to increase publications on the int’l journals. Each department should implement measures to guarantee minimum research requirements of their teaching staff. FITA and their departments will try to organize regular scientific seminar/workshops and national/international conferences whenever possible.
– Intensification of applying IT in the university management.
– Carrying out successfully the current research projects and continuously seeking opportunity for new projects.
