The department staff have taken part in many research and technology transfer projects:

– Participation in a project at National level, leadership in 02 project at MOET level, and 05 projects at HUA level. One outstanding research result is the creation of a new soybean variety based on modified genetic methodology (in cooperation with the Institute of Agricultural Research).

– During the last ten years, the department had carried out two research projects at  MOET level which focused on application of radiation in food processing and conservation.
